Wellbeing
At Prairievale Public School, wellbeing is at the core of everything we do. We are committed to creating a safe, inclusive and nurturing environment where every student feels valued, connected and supported to achieve their best.
Guided by the NSW Department of Education’s Wellbeing Framework for Schools, our approach focuses on helping all students to connect, succeed and thrive. We believe that when students feel happy, respected and confident, they are better able to learn, build positive relationships and are empowered to become confident and active contributors to our school and society.
We take a whole-school approach that promotes positive relationships, emotional growth and a strong sense of belonging. Our staff are dedicated to supporting the wellbeing of every student through caring relationships, proactive strategies and meaningful partnerships with families. Through a range of wellbeing initiatives, classroom programs, positive behaviour initiatives, and strong partnerships with families and the wider community, we are committed to helping all students reach their potential — academically, socially and emotionally.
